The awards
The Premier of Queensland's Export Awards is an annual awards program now in its 19th year. These awards are open to all Queensland exporters and are Queensland's highest recognition of export achievement.
The awards provide a showcase for Queensland's top exporters, and a means to promote them as role models, encouraging others to strive for success in world markets.
The awards:
- recognise excellence in the export of goods and services to the international marketplace
- acknowledge the important contribution that Queensland export businesses make to the local and national economy through job creation and increased prosperity in the community
- provide the opportunity to publicly recognise the talent and innovative spirit of Queensland's leading exporters.
Key dates
Applications open: Thursday 1 May 2008
Applications close: Friday 1 August 2008
Awards presentation dinner: Thursday 16 October 2008, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
