Eligibility
Applications for the Premier of Queensland's Export Awards are invited from businesses that satisfy the following criteria:
- are Queensland based or have their main export operations based in Queensland
- produce goods or services that have Australian content of at least 50 per cent of their Free On Board (FOB) value
- earn foreign exchange
- operate as a separate business if part of a larger organisation
- companies may only enter one state or territory awards program (i.e. you may not submit an application for the same business in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria).
In addition:
- companies that have been exporting for three financial years or less are eligible for the Emerging Exporter Award
- businesses with a non-metropolitan head office may enter the Regional Exporter Award
- Government agencies are not eligible to apply. However, export businesses that receive funding from the Government are eligible to apply
- sponsors of an Export Award cannot lodge an application for their sponsored award category.
