State awards program
The Premier of Queensland's Export Awards is an annual program that is open to all Queensland exporters, large and small, regional and metropolitan.
Exporting companies are renowned for being leaders in seeking opportunities, leading with innovation and creating jobs for Queenslanders.
These awards provide a showcase for Queensland's top exporters and promote Queensland export role models to encourage others to succeed in world markets.
The awards:
- recognise enterprising excellence for the exporting of goods and services and the positioning of Queensland in the international market
- acknowledge the important contribution that Queensland exporting businesses make to the State economy through job creation and increased prosperity in the community
- provide the opportunity to publicly recognise the talent and innovative spirit of Queensland's top exporters.
Trade and Investment Queensland independently manages the awards program and encourages high-performing Queensland exporters to apply.
The awards ceremony
Winners and finalists will be announced at the gala presentation ceremony and dinner hosted by the Premier of Queensland. This prestigious event will be held in Brisbane on Thursday 11 October 2012.
